Outsourcing Staffing Advantage is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team as a Medical Billing & Insurance Coordinator. In this role, you’ll manage the full billing cycle from patient intake to claim submission, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way. Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and correcting coding using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS standards
Posting payments and adjustments, and reconciling patient accounts
Resolving claim denials and managing appeals with insurance payers
Communicating with patients, healthcare providers, and insurers regarding billing issues
Handle order intake and verify insurance eligibility
Enter patient and insurance information into the billing system
Make insurance verification calls and follow-ups
Conduct research and resolve claim issues via phone
Submit accurate and timely billing claims
Experience in medical billing, insurance coordination, or revenue cycle
Strong communication and organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of prior auth processes and insurance platforms Experience submitting and following up on insurance claims
Experience posting payments, adjustments, and reconciling patient accounts
Experience resolving claim denials and managing appeals
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. at least at a level of C1 Advanced
