: 7:00am to 4:30pm Mondays to thursday and Fridays from 7:00am to 3:30pm

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:
Provide technical support for preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial and textile machines, ensuring compliance with requirements, and resolve machine breakdowns to guarantee company production. Assists with all activities related to the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Repair and correct breakdowns in embroidery machines such as Barudan and Tajima to contribute to the continuity of the production process.
Monitor workstations in the Gerber Mechanics area to ensure everything is working properly.
Detect and correct electrical failures in Gerber machines, helping to meet delivery dates for the smooth running of the machines.
Apply preventive and corrective maintenance standards that guarantee the machines.
SPECIFIC TASKS:
Immediately resolve breakdowns in Gerber machines so that they do not affect the Company's production.
Give preventive maintenance to the machines.
Daily inspection of equipment.
Carry out installation and modification in the structure of the machine components if warranted (modify a foot, coil boxes and shims and apply Teflon if the machine foot needs it).
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:
Note that (i) computer literacy and working-level skill with the basic MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer), (ii) good verbal and written communication skills, (iii) good interpersonal skills, and (iv) the ability to work well both individually and in a team environment are default requirements for all Jostens exempt and salaried nonexempt employees.

Bachelor completed
Mechanical technician
3 years or more of experience in industrial mechanics around embroidery.

3 years or more of experience in industrial electricity
Preferred:
Wide knowledge in industrial Elecrtricity.
2 years or more of experience in industrial mechanics in the embroidery area
