*About the role:**
As Head of Accounting for our Shared Service Center in the Dominican Republic, your main mission will be to plan, coordinate, and monitor the accounting function across all assigned hotels and entities in the region. You will ensure the consistent application of accounting policies and procedures, and guarantee the quality of financial reporting. Your leadership will be key to driving operational excellence, supporting strategic decisions, and maintaining compliance within a dynamic hospitality environment.
*What will your key responsibilities be?**Plan, coordinate, and supervise the annual accounting needs for all assigned hotels and entities. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. Implement and monitor accounting policies, procedures, ensuring standardization. Coordinate process improvements and automation in collaboration with IT and finance teams. Supervise and validate accounting data used in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure accurate bank reconciliations and proper recording of financial transactions.
