*About the role**
Lead, plan, and comprehensively supervise the geological activities of the Cerro de Maimón underground mining operation, ensuring accurate estimation and control of mineral resources, the generation of reliable geological models, and timely technical support to planning and operations areas. Guarantee the sustainability of the business through optimized orebody knowledge, grade control, reduction of geological uncertainty, and compliance with applicable technical, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards—contributing to the achievement of the company’s strategic, production, and economic objectives.
*Requirements**University degree in Geology (Bachelor’s or Geological Engineering)Master’s degree in Economic Geology, Mining Geology, Ore Deposit Evaluation, or Mineral Resources (preferred)Specialization or diploma in Mineral Resource and Reserve Estimation (preferred)Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in mining, preferably in underground metal operations. At least 5 years in leadership or supervisory roles within geological teams. Strong expertise in 3 D geological modeling and mineral resource estimation. Proven experience in grade control, mine-to-mill reconciliation, design and supervision of diamond drilling programs (surface and underground), and implementation of QA/QC protocols.
